Draw three free-form ovals. Place each oval on top of the other. The upper oval is the head, the middle is the ribcage, and the bottom is the pelvis. Mark the position of the shaft with a straight line.
Draw the limbs. The left arm is bent at the elbow, the right arm is set to the side and slightly lowered. The legs are parallel to each other and start at the pelvis.
Mark the top with two criss-cross lines. Sketch of the wizard's futuristic cloak using a cylinder. Draw it on the chest and show the position of the neck.
First, let's add some volume to the wizard's arms and forearms. Outline the shoulder and elbow joints using simple circles. At this stage, draw simple geometric shapes instead of using the palm of your hand.
Draw the bottom of the cape down along the legs to the ground. Then draw the bottom edge of the cape. To make this garment look real, give it a wave-like shape.
Place the magic staff in the left hand and make it like a long pole. In length, it is equal to the height of the wizard. In the wizard's right hand, draw the contours of a sword with a narrow blade and a guard.
To do this, place two small strokes right in the center of the head. Use horizontal lines from the first stages. Then draw the nose a little below. Then draw the mouth below the nose.
Draw a triangle on the chest and cover the shoulders. Use brush strokes to add lightness and layering to the wizard's beard.
Start with the wide brim of your hat and position it so that the top of your head is not visible below. Then add an elongated cone to the hat and complete the design with the top.
Back to creating the cape. Draw lines along the arms to create the outline of the sleeves. You should take long and wide sleeves. Then mark the folds of the fabric with brush strokes.
It cuts across the torso and creates a lot of folds on the cape. On the right side of the wizard is a bag, which you must attach to your belt. Draw a belt around the waist and use the strokes to mark the folds on the cape.
Add volume and relief to the gown. Use a row of vertical lines to create the folds, starting at the waist. Then, add extra lines on the sides to make the bottom of the cape more floating.
Return to staff. To make it look like a staff, you need to clearly define its silhouette. Try to give a slight roughness to the edges of the staff. Furthermore, draw each finger holding the stick.
Draw the fingers on the right hand in the same way. Then, place the treasure sword on the wizard's clenched palm. The blade starts from the guard. Make sure the blade is sharp.
The wizard drawing is almost ready. Erase all the rules with the eraser tool. You can then add any additional details, such as an inscription on a cape or a roll on the inside of a bag.
Get started with the color palette for the wizard. Use dark gray to paint the wizard's cloak. Make the beard light gray. Color the hat with the color of the cape. The handle and guard of the sword are gray, and the blade is light gray. The staff, belt and bag will be brown.
So we've finished drawing the wizard. Using this wizard drawing lesson you can not only draw Gandalf but also Dumbledore, Merlin and any other typical fantasy wizard. - https://htdraw.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/How-to-Draw-a-Wizard-Step-by-Step.jpg - https://htdraw.com/how-to-draw-a-wizard-step-by-step/
