Step 1
Let's start by creating guides and shapes to form a workable frame guide for this anime fairy girl. Start with the shape of the head, then draw the guides of the torso and hips. Sketch out the face guides as well as the wing, arm, and neck guides.
Step 2
For this next step, all you have to do is outline the fairy's face shape, then draw bangs for her short hairstyle.
Step 3
Using the facial guides, draw the shape of each eye, then draw the nose, mouth, and thin eyebrows.
Step 4
Next, draw the shape of the fairy's head by sketching her hairstyle. In this anime, I chose a short straight hairstyle. Sketch out some hair definitions for texture, then move on to step five.
Step 5
Now that the fairy's head and face are complete, we can tackle the task of removing the body. Start with the shape of her neck, then draw her shoulders, arms, and some of her torso that will have a small bump for the breast. Draw in her hand, then you're ready to move on to step six.
Step 6
We're going to finalize the shape of her body and in this case, even though she's a sweet looking fairy, her body language creates a beautiful, sexy figure. Draw a V-line for her one-piece dress, then add a collarbone.
Step 7
We will draw the design on the bust of the dress. This pattern is Aztec-ish, but you can create any pattern you like. Add some detail to the center of the ruched/flattened dress to accentuate the shape of her legs in a very subtle way.
Step 8
Now we'll start with the wings. Draw the large top sections of each wing like that, then draw the second parts of the wings.
Step 9
And finally, paint the rib pattern on the wings like that, and if you want something a little more fancy, all you have to do is choose your own lining. Once her wings are complete, all you have to do is erase the mistakes.
