How to draw an easy Lion with this how to video and step by step drawing instructions. Easy animals to draw for beginners and all.
Step 1
Draw a medium to large circle for the lion's head. Size is based on preference. Draw another shape in the shape of a sausage. Finally, draw the guides for the face and legs.
Step 2
Start outlining the lion's mane as you see here and make sure it frames the lion's face. Once that's done, you can start drawing the lion's legs and tail line.
Step 3
Continue drawing the remaining legs, then add the toes on each paw, then finish drawing the tail. Be sure to add some fluff at the end of the tail, and raise the elbows and chest.
Step 4
Now sketch the big mane you see here, and also draw the lion's ears. When outlining the mane, remember to add some sharp edges to show the long, loose hair.
Step 5
Since you are in the last step, all you need to do is draw the eyes, color them, then draw the nose, mouth and beard. Erase the lines and shapes you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.
Step 6
