Step 2: Draw the Rectangle



  1. Start by drawing a large rectangle on your paper. The rectangle should be longer horizontally than vertically.

  2. Use a ruler if you want to ensure straight edges.


Step 3: Color the Background



  1. Fill the top half of the rectangle with a bright green color. This represents the color of the Brazilian rainforest.

  2. Fill the bottom half with a vibrant yellow color. This represents Brazil's wealth in gold.


Step 4: Add the Blue Circle



  1. In the center of the flag, draw a large blue circle.

  2. Ensure that the circle takes up approximately one-third of the flag's height.

  3. It's okay if the edges of the circle touch the edges of the green and yellow halves.


Step 5: Add the Stars



  1. Inside the blue circle, draw a cluster of stars. Brazil's flag features a representation of the night sky over Rio de Janeiro on November 15, 1889. So, it has 27 stars, including the Southern Cross constellation.

  2. You can draw the stars with a white or yellow color. Arrange them so they resemble the night sky.
