Step 1. Draw the plate
Use a pencil to draw a large oval in the middle of the bottom of the paper.
Step 2. Add the bottom part
Then, draw a curved line under the oval. This completes the bottom of the slab.
Step 3. Draw mashed potatoes
Then, draw wavy lines inside the plate containing the mashed potatoes.
Step 4. Draw the sauce boat
Now we'll draw the sauce boat, starting with the main part, similar to the illustration here.
Step 5. Add handles
Complete your line drawing by drawing the handle of the gravy boat.
